Scandinavian design firm, Søren Rose Studio launched the outstanding Park Avenue Collection at Tramshed 2011. Produced in collaboration with De La Espada, the collection consists of nine products that exhibit true craftsmanship while exploring new material combinations including cork, marble, aluminum, brass, fabric and natural wood. Using solid, beautiful materials, the collection is simple in nature yet obsessive in detail, resulting in long-lasting, timeless pieces that offer a fresh take on modern living. There’s strong references to the likes of Knoll’s Platner chair and an overall link to the great designs of the 1960′s America.
Designer Søren Rose says, “All of the pieces are designed for real people and the result is a very dramatic collection that combines the best of the Scandinavian furniture tradition with a New York contemporary feeling.”
